Connect U.S. Fund

Description

The United States plays a decisive role in setting the pace for global efforts to create a more peaceful, just, and sustainable world. Recognizing this, hundreds of U.S.-based organizations have worked to promote responsible U.S. global policy and action. To achieve greater impact, many organizations are now experimenting with new ways of working together, both within and across broad issue areas. These groups believe that when we collaborate more closely and effectively, our common efforts add up to more than the sum of their parts. Connect US was founded to make effective collaboration easier and help organizations working in the foreign policy arena to become better policy advocates. It "connects us" in a mutually supportive network of organizations and initiatives, and strengthens our efforts to "connect the United States" to the world as a responsible global citizen. Connect US participants focus on a wide range of global issues, including human rights, global health, security, economic development, environmental protection, and democracy and good governance, among other issues.
