Asian and Pacific Islanders (APIs) have been the fastest growing racial group in the United States for the past decade. Despite APIs being a diverse group, there has been little formal documentaton about the social and economic problems faced by APIs, especially women. Many face the problems of discrimination, poverty, poor housing, domestic violence. The National Asian Pacific Women's Forum (NAPAWF) was created to address these problems and work towards a vision of social and economic justice for all communities.
