The mission of the The National Higher Education Recruitment Consortium (HERC) is to facilitate national strategic initiatives that help the regional HERC’s accomplish their goals and to promote HERC-wide visibility. The mission of the regional HERCs is to advance the efforts of their member institutions to recruit and retain outstanding and diverse faculty and staff and to assist dual career couples.
