Tides Center’s grants management encompasses the following services:
Foundation Grant Administration
- Provides grant support documentation
- Reviews grant applications for consistency with policies and legal limitations
- Provides oversight of grant agreements
- Ensures compliance with grant agreements, including alerts for grant reporting deadlines, and financial reports for general support and restricted funding
- Produces regular monthly financial information including balance sheets and income statement
Government Grant Administration
- Reviews grant applications and proposals for consistency with policies and legal limitations
- Works with projects to assure compliance with grant agreements and budgets
- Monitors budget to actual expenditures
- Coordinates and supports government audits, tests, and visits
- Provides single audit compliance and compliance with OMB circulars
- Provides financial reporting and billing for reimbursable grants
