Grants Management

Our grants team is expert in all aspects of foundation and government grant management. We provide full administration for this complex and time-consuming task, including monitoring for compliance and reporting, ultimately resulting in stronger relationships with funders.

Tides Center’s grants management encompasses the following services:

Foundation Grant Administration

  • Provides grant support documentation
  • Reviews grant applications for consistency with policies and legal limitations
  • Provides oversight of grant agreements
  • Ensures compliance with grant agreements, including alerts for grant reporting deadlines, and financial reports for general support and restricted funding
  • Produces regular monthly financial information including balance sheets and income statement

Government Grant Administration

  • Reviews grant applications and proposals for consistency with policies and legal limitations
  • Works with projects to assure compliance with grant agreements and budgets
  • Monitors budget to actual expenditures
  • Coordinates and supports government audits, tests, and visits
  • Provides single audit compliance and compliance with OMB circulars
  • Provides financial reporting and billing for reimbursable grants
