Boost! West Oakland

Description

Boost! West Oakland seeks to help children in an economically disadvantaged part of Oakland. The project's primary goal is to increase the academic skills through one-on-one tutoring and a range of enrichment activities as reinforcement. The strategy used for achieving these goals is to recruit and train volunteer tutors to work with children identified by school personnel. The tutoring sessions will be after school.
