Healing Yoga Foundation (HYF) is a nonprofit service, support, education, and research institution dedicated to health, healing, and personal development through yoga. We are committed to serving all who wish to benefit from yoga by respecting and meeting the needs of the individual regardless of physical capability, health, background, age, experience, or financial means. HYF seeks to fulfill a vital need within the community by serving as a healing center offering yoga as a treatment modality, with a special emphasis on bringing the healing benefits of yoga to the economically and socially disadvantaged and others who may not have access to yoga as a support for personal health and wellness. To meet this goal, we also send skilled yoga teachers and therapists trained to work with special needs groups directly to those who may benefit the most, yet do not have the ability or means to come to us, including seniors, youth-at-risk, pregnant teens, those suffering from AIDS, and others.
