Passionfish Hosts Exciting Forum on Seafood and Ocean Sustainability img-share-ph

San Diego, California — The non-partisan, multi-media organization Passionfish is hosting an engaging and educational forum called Fish! on the urgent issue of seafood and ocean sustainability. Fish! Forum, open to the public, is co-hosted by the iconic Hotel Del Coronado, 1500 Ocean restaurant, and the nonprofits Cooks Confab and Slow Food Urban San Diego.

WHO

The panel is composed of stakeholders representing all sides of the seafood and ocean sustainability issue — business leaders, scientists, fish farmers, fishermen, policy makers, restaurateurs, and community leaders.

WHAT

As part of The First Annual San Diego Sustainable Seafood Week, “Fish!” and launching World Ocean Week.

WHERE

Hotel Del Coronado, Coronado, California. Weather permitting, the event will be held outdoors with the ocean as backdrop. The forum is a free public event and will include time for audience Q/A.

WHEN

Sunday, June 6, 2010. 4:00 to 5:30 p.m. Following the Fish! Forum, a special sustainable seafood dinner “Fish!” will be held at 1500 Ocean, the Hotel Del Coronado’s fine dining restaurant. Reservations are required for the dinner; the dinner is not a free event and seats are limited, so reserve early at 1500 Ocean.
