Tides Network was established by Tides Foundation, Tides Center and Tides Shared Spaces and brings together the best practices of its founding organizations to increase the capacity and effectiveness of social change organizations and the nonprofit sector.
Tides Foundation provides grantmaking capabilities. Tides Center provides back-office services and a legal framework for projects that share our vision of a just, healthy, and sustainable world. Together these services are giving several organizations the capabilities needed to focus their time and energy on their mission, rather than on logistics and operational issues.
Working with Tides allows new organizations to get started quickly and efficiently and it allows both new and established organizations to test innovative ideas. These organizations effect change in some of our society’s most pressing issue areas, including:
