In 2015, Tides set a new course for social impact with a bold vision, mission, and approach building on our decades of leadership in social change.
We are now taking the next step forward, with a new brand and website. Our new brand is the external representation of years of transformation, growth, and increasing impact locally, nationally, and globally.
Our mission—to accelerate the pace of social change, working with innovative partners to solve society’s toughest problems—requires that we think of new ways to drive social change in the 21st century. That is why Tides’ approach focuses on crossing boundaries, acting with empathy and respect, engaging with those whose lives are affected, embracing risk, and prioritizing ideas that can scale.
If we want lasting and meaningful change, we must question our assumptions and step out of our comfort zones.
Our new tagline, Daring Change, crystallizes our commitment to discover new ideas and forge unlikely partnerships, and our tenacity to adapt and learn.
