More good together: Box partners with Tides to innovate intraprise
Box is a cloud content management company that believes that those committed to doing good in the world should have the capacity to do it. Box.org enables nonprofits to innovate and fulfill their mission with their services, programs, community building, and grants. Now Box.org is partnering with Tides to deliver impact on a greater scale.
Box will initially populate the Box.org Fund with a transfer of equity and cash. Then the “virtuous cycle” comes in: as nonprofits continue to succeed with Box cloud content management and invest in it, Box.org can mobilize those resources for more nonprofit capacity building. Box.org offers heavily discounted services for nonprofits, and a percentage of these funds will go back to the Box.org Fund to support grantmaking and nonprofit programs and ultimately advance Box.org’s social impact investing aspirations. Tides and Box.org will team closely to make the grants as unrestricted as possible.
