Your application answers will allow us to evaluate a fit for a charitable fund at Tides and as the starting point of our future partnership if accepted. 

You can use the "Save my progress and resume later" option to set up a unique username/login to save your progress and resume at a later time. 

Your application will not be officially submitted to Tides until you click the 'Confirm' button. You will have an opportunity to review and correct required fields and to print your final responses before submission. Donor Advisor (primary recipient for all account communication)
A Donor Advisor has the authority to make recommendations regarding distributions from a fund, and to update, modify or request other administrative changes to the fund. Unless otherwise established, each Donor Advisor to a fund has separate, full and equal authority.

Please choose a name for your fund. For example, "The Garcia Family Fund" or "Coral Reef Fund".

All grants from Tides are sent with award letters that generally include acknowledgement of the donor or Fund. Please select the default acknowledgement from the options below (acknowledgement can be updated on a per grant basis when making grant recommendations as well).

Investment Options
Tides provides donors with the option of opening an invested Donor Advised Fund, which permits donors to recommend that Fund assets be invested in Tides mission-aligned investment allocations.  Please contact Tides for our Investing for Impact resources and to discuss selecting an invested Donor Advised Fund by selecting “Yes” below.* 

*A separate fee structure applies for invested Donor Advised Funds. Please contact Tides for further information regarding fees.

Investment allocations will be finalized upon DAF application approval.

A fund may maintain one generation of successor Advisor(s), and/or may designate specific issue area(s) or organization(s) that you'd like remaining amounts in the Fund to support if you and/or such successor(s) are unable or unwilling to act as Advisor(s), subject to review and discretion of Foundation staff.
