Tides’ Leadership Transition

Janiece Evans-Page begins her tenure as Tides’ CEO on January 4, 2021

Tides is a unique place that calls for innovative leadership that both aligns with our mission and values, and can move the organization forward bravely and boldly as our world and its challenges continue to evolve.

We are confident we have found that leadership — and more — in our incoming CEO, Janiece Evans-Page.

Janiece brings to Tides a strong background in leadership, equity, and innovation, with more than two decades of leading business and social impact initiatives. From a successful career at Hewlett-Packard Co. to her most recent role as Vice President of Global Philanthropy and Sustainability at Fossil Foundation, she has proven her commitment and ability to affect social change within, and through, large systems.

As the inaugural Chief Sustainability and Diversity Officer and Head of Fossil Foundation, Janiece launched Fossil Group’s global philanthropy practice, leading the strategic modernization of Fossil Group’s global philanthropic investment portfolio. She was also the architect of the organization’s signature initiative, empowering youth through innovative partnerships with social entrepreneurs. She was named Vice President of Global Philanthropy and Sustainability in 2013, and to date, the Fossil Foundation has impacted the lives of 750,000+ underserved young people around the globe. During her 20-plus year career at Hewlett-Packard Co. Evans-Page accomplishments included the transformation of HP’s $20M philanthropy portfolio. In 2018, she was honored by Ebony Magazine as one of its Power 100 awardees in the “Women Up” category.

Janiece joins Tides on the heels of a transformative year, with a national reckoning on social justice, ravaging wildfires brought on by climate change, and COVID-19 laying bare deep inequities in health care, education, economic opportunity, and beyond — clearly Tides’ work and that of our partners is more crucial than ever before. As Tides broadens and deepens its commitment to accelerate the pace of social change, Janiece will lead the organization with dynamic tools, deep expertise, novel collaborations, and innovative ideas.

The Tides global community is privileged and honored to welcome Janiece as its next CEO.
