Daryl Hannah

Daryl Hannah leads strategic communications to advance Tides’ mission to shift power to historically marginalized communities. He brings nearly 20  years of experience in strategic communications, public and media relations, thought leadership, message development, and branding for social impact organizations and leaders.  

Before joining Tides, he served as Senior Director for Narrative Strategy at the Atlantic Fellows for Racial Equity (AFRE), Vice President for Social Impact and Philanthropy at BerlinRosen, and Director of Media and Community Partnerships at GLAAD. His writings have appeared in The New York TimesPOZ MagazineInside Philanthropy, the Harvard Kennedy School LGBTQ+ Policy JournalThe Root, and several other publications. Daryl also serves on the board of the Andrus Family Fund.
