For over twenty-five years, LeaderSpring has invested in the extraordinary talent, dedication, and vision of progressive leaders. The National Committee for Responsive Philanthropy has recognized LeaderSpring as one of four pioneering leadership development programs in the United States.

LeaderSpring undertakes its work by delving deeply into what impacts and undermines leadership among people of color in the social sector and other marginalized groups, honing-in on systems of oppression. These systems not only assail low-income and historically marginalized populations, but they also impact the leadership of those committed to transforming communities.

LeaderSpring resolves to be a catalyst for societal good by facilitating:
-Transformative processes that elevates people’s agency, collectively and individually to optimize leadership for change; and
-Changes in organizational culture and structure in efforts to oppose and dismantle systems of oppression.

The mission of The Leakey Foundation is to increase scientific knowledge, education, and public understanding of human origins, evolution, behavior, and survival.

The Leakey Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to funding scientific research that explores the many facets of human origins and sharing the results of this research through our innovative educational programs.

We are based in San Francisco, California, and we are the only U.S. funding organization wholly committed to human origins research and education throughout the world.

The Leakey Foundation promotes a multidisciplinary approach to exploring human origins. We award more than $800,000 annually in field and laboratory grants for vital new research and long-term projects. We give special encouragement to early career scientists asking new questions and seeking innovative ways to answer these questions about human evolution. Like venture capitalists, The Leakey Foundation understands that the greatest rewards come from taking the greatest risks.

We build a better Louisiana for women, girls and gender expansive people by advocating for reproductive health, rights and justice.

We exist within an ecosystem of reproductive health, rights and justice, and we support reciprocal, accountable relationships to shift power and improve the quality of life for women in Louisiana, their families and their communities.

We expand protected areas, support ecological research, and empower the public to become stewards and advocates for the natural world.

Birds are amongst the most easily appreciated organisms in nature, and they are also excellent indicators of ecosystem health. Our work is focused on building the capacity of nonprofit operations, both domestically and abroad, to conserve populations of threatened birds and associated biodiversity.

MARIA FUND is an intermediary organization with a mission to catalyze and support the growth of a network of social movement leaders and organizers with a shared vision and analysis who support and amplify each other’s work to transfer wealth and power to the people of Puerto Rico. The Maria Fund fulfills its mission by developing initiatives to mobilize resources and convening groups for strategic alignment, working towards achieving structural change.

Since its creation after Hurricane Maria, MARIA FUND has evolved into a permanent resource mobilization entity, providing financial support and resources to grassroots organizations, community leaders, and social justice projects. Through grants awarded to 90 organizations and stipends for leaders throughout our archipelago, MARIA FUND has successfully mobilized $9.6 million in resources from 2017 to the present day.

The Mercury Policy Project (MPP) works to promote policies to eliminate mercury uses, reduce the export and trafficking of mercury, and significantly reduce mercury exposures at the local, national, and international levels. We strive to work harmoniously with other groups and individuals who have similar goals and interests.

Movement Voter Fund works to strengthen progressive power at all levels of government by helping donors – big and small – support the best and most promising local community-based organizations in key states, with a focus on youth and communities of color. They support hundreds of incredible organizations that both turn out unlikely voters and organize communities to grow their power and create transformation, from policy to the streets. Movement Voter Fund believes that supporting local movement vote groups is the most effective and most cost-effective strategy to transform our country.

Inspire … then educate.

The Center creates and oversees national science education programs with a focus on Earth and space. Programs are designed to provide an authentic window on science as a human endeavor, and recognize that scientists and engineers can and should be heroes and role models to our children. The Center’s mission is to help ensure a science literate public and a next generation of scientists and engineers—both of which are of national strategic importance in an age of high technology.

A diverse array of programs for schools, families, and the public; professional development workshops and institutes for grade K-12 educators; world-class exhibitions for museums, science centers, and universities; and online and Web 2.0 experiences, embrace the notion that science education should be about conceptual understanding at an emotional level.

The Center embraces a Learning Community Model for science education where the Center’s programs for diverse audiences can be combined to engage an entire community. Programming is designed to be sustainable; tailored to the strategic education needs of the community; and delivered systemically across school districts.

The Center’s partners include the Smithsonian Institution, NASA, the Carnegie Institution of Washington, the John Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory, the American Association for the Advancement of Science, the Arthur C. Clarke Foundation, and at the local level: museums, science centers, and school districts.

The National Council of Asian Pacific Americans (NCAPA), founded in 1997, is a coalition of thirty-four national Asian Pacific American organizations around the country. Based in Washington D.C, NCAPA serves to represent the interests of the greater Asian American (AA) and Native Hawaiian Pacific Islander (NHPI) communities and to provide a national voice for AA and NHPI issues.
